Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina within the next ten days, with a trip to the city of Banja Luka planned immediately after the visit to the capital Sarajevo.

The information has been confirmed by Milorad Dodik, the president of Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity.

“He is arriving on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and will be in Sarajevo that day. He will visit Banja Luka in the afternoon,” Dodik said, announcing that Orban would spend the night in Banja Luka, the administrative centre of the Bosnia's Serb-majority entity.

According to Dodik, Orban will also hold meetings with political representatives of Republika Srpska the following day.

This is not Orban's first visit to Banja Luka. At the beginning of November 2021, the Hungarian Prime Minister visited broader area of the city in a private visit to Dodik.
