After conducting an investigation, the BiH Prosecution filed an indictment against Vojin Pavlovic, born in 1976 in Bratunac, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the criminal offence of inciting ethnic, racial and religious hatred, discord and bigotry.

Pavlovic is accused of having knowingly glorified a person, on March 10, 2023, in Bratunac, who was legally sentenced by the verdict of the International Court for the prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed on the territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 for the criminal offence of genocide, in such a way that, as the president of the board of directors of the Association “Eastern Alternative” Republika Srpska, as well as a resident of Bratunac, put up a banner with a picture and a written message glorifying and supporting a person convicted of war crimes.

In the aforementioned manner, the accused caused anxiety and fear among the majority of residents in the area who saw the banner placed in the centre of the city, and especially among the returnee population who suffered severe suffering in the past war.

The indictment was confirmed by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
