The War Childhood Museum (WCM) in Sarajevo will celebrate its seventh birthday on February 27 at the Youth Center by presenting the activities and results that marked the previous year.
They will be accompanied by staff members of the War Childhood Museum from Palestine and Ukraine, Haneen Jadallah and Oleksandra Dmytrenko, who will talk about their experiences working with children whose childhood was marked by war.
Partners, guests, and friends will be addressed by representatives of the Museum, as well as some of the partners and participants in the activities.
Entrance for all visitors from February 22 to 29 will be free of charge. The Museum invites everyone to see some of the exhibits and stories from the collection that have not been exhibited in Sarajevo until now.
”In addition, you will be able to test the new interactive installation in WCM that will take you back to your childhood. And this time, during the birthday week, we will organize guided tours for blind and partially sighted people,” the Museum pointed out.
In addition, educators for children and young people will lead scheduled intergenerational tours called “Through the Museum with Ladybugs and Hummingbirds” every day from February 22 to 29.
”We will mark the birthday with creative and educational workshops for different ages. Three workshops will be open to the public,” the War Childhood Museum announced.
