The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision on Thursday to hold local elections in the municipalities of Konjic, Kiseljak, Fojnica and Kresevo, which were previously postponed due to catastrophic floods and landslides.

The CEC decided that the elections would be held on Sunday, October 20.

No decision has yet been made for Jablanica since they could not say with certainty that elections could be implemented in the territory of this municipality.

Vlado Rogic, a member of the CEC, said that they visited all the places affected by the disaster and that they made this decision in agreement with the municipal election commissions.

In the coming days, the CEC will deal with solving problems such as additional printing of election materials and issuing personal documents to people who lost them in this disaster.
