The President of BiH's Republika Srpska (RS) entity and fugitive from the state judiciary, Milorad Dodik, stated that he will invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin for a return visit to Banja Luka as soon as the international situation allows it.

Dodik noted that he had previously invited Putin to visit the entity of Republika Srpska, specifically Banja Luka.

"But we all know very well what kind of situation the world is currently in. Republika Srpska is surrounded by European Union and NATO countries. Of course, when the global situation changes, we will gladly return to this issue and invite him. But for now, we have to be realistic," Dodik told RIA Novosti.

Dodik was in Moscow at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, attending events dedicated to the "Victory Day" celebration.
