The Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) has hired American political campaign experts Jason Osborne and Michael Rubino, the US media report. Their possible cooperation was hinted recently by Republika Srpska (RS) entity Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic's (SNSD) talks with the two experts in June this year, in Banjaluka.

According to the LegiStorm website from Washington, which reports on the news from the US Congress, Osborne and Rubino who were engaged in the Trump election campaign, have worked for the SNSD before.

“Osborne and Rubino both worked as senior advisers to Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and former lobbyists at Avenue Strategies. Osborne and Rubino left Avenue Strategies sometime after co-founder Corey Lewandowski, Trump's former campaign manager, faced criticism over his failure to register as a lobbyist. The pair co-founded another lobbying shop, Turnberry Solutions, before registering Twin Rocks Global last month. This is the first filing that mentions the new firm,” LegiStorm wrote.

The registration statement filed with the US Department of Justice published by the said website stipulates that the two sides have already agreed on the said cooperation.

“Osborne and Rubio will provide strategic guidance and counsel with regard to government affairs and public relations activity within the U.S. This may include relevant outreach to U.S. government officials, non-government organizations, members of the media and other individuals within the US,” the registration statement said.

Confronted by N1’s Boris Brezo on this matter, RS President Milorad Dodik, the Leader of the SNSD, said that the public will be duly notified on everything.

“You are misinformed. Those aren’t Trump’s lobbyists. Trump doesn’t have lobbyists, he has his election staff, he has people professionally doing their job. I’m proud of Ms Cvijanovic who had a very successful visit to the US, considering all the people she met with,” Dodik said, pointing to Cvijanovic’s visit to Washington, recently, where she met with Counselor to the US President Kellyanne Conway, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and a political operative, lobbyist and political commentator Corey Lewandowski.
