Croatian Border Police said they will open the Maljevac border crossing on Tuesday, at 7 p.m., after the Una-Sana Canton police and Bosnia’s Border Police relocated the remaining migrants from the area.

Members of the Una Sana Canton Interior Ministry and Bosnia’s Border Police units have relocated the remaining migrants from the area of the said border crossing between Bosnia and Croatia in the north-west of the country.

Hundreds of migrants have been protesting for past few days at this border crossing in the northwest of Bosnia, demanding that the border is open for them to cross freely and continue their journey to the western Europe countries. The situation culminated on Wednesday when migrants broke through one cordon of the police in an attempt to reach the Croatian territory, which led to the border crossing point temporary shutdown.

"The migrants entered the buses quietly and went off towards the town of Velika Kladusa where they will be accommodated," Bosnia’s Border Police told N1.
