Man kills police officer with eight shots near Prijedor

Officer Sladjenko Tubin responded to a call in Gornja Ravska, where Marko Sabic had stabbed his father, Veselko Sabic.

As the police patrol arrived at the scene, Marko Sabic opened fire, shooting Tubin in the abdomen and leg area.

Both victims were transported to the Prijedor hospital where the officer was pronounced dead while Veselko Sabic is in a stable condition. The shooter was arrested.

According to locals, he was emotionally disturbed and was receiving psychiatric help.
