Dodik, Pope agree on necessity to preserve peace and stability
Bosnian Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik said following the meeting with Pope Francis in the Vatican on Friday it is necessary to preserve peace and stability and that cooperation of all religious communities is a way to move forward.

“We discussed the important issues in Europe and the world. We agreed it is very important to preserve stability and peace. We both expressed regret over the events in New Zealand and Sri Lanka,” Dodik told public broadcaster RTRS, speaking right after the meeting.
The Presidency Chairman met the Catholic Church leader in the company of Zeljka Cvijanovic, the President of Bosnia's Serb-majority entity, Republika Srpska.
He was welcomed in the Vatican by the Pope's ceremonial guard.

Bosnia's Presidency earlier said the meeting would discuss relations of Vatican and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the global developments.
