Paolo Rangel, the permanent rapporteur for Bosnia and Herzegovina said on Wednesday that Bosnia's natural place is in the EU.
When N1 asked this experienced Portuguese diplomat to comment on his upcoming task, he said it will be a great challenge for him and the European Parliament's Committee.
“Bosnia's natural place is in the EU,” Rangel noted.
Rangel will be responsible for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next five years during which he will submit regular reports to the Parliament on the situation in the country. The Portuguese MP succeeded former Romanian MEP Cristiano Dan Preda in this position.
