The friendship of the United States of America and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be further strengthened with Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election, Bosnia’s Presidency Chairman Sefik Dzaferovic wrote in his congratulatory note to the president-elect.

“I am convinced you will use your experience and policy that symbolises freedom, democracy and human dignity to successfully respond to all major challenges your big nation is facing, and that your term will be marked with success,” said Dzaferovic.

“I am also convinced you and your administration will strongly support us on the Euro-Atlantic road of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that we will continue strengthening our friendship together, with an aim to ensure permanent peace, stability, democracy building and prosperity in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the whole region of the Western Balkans,” he added.
