North Macedonia reports 46 deaths, 504 new coronavirus cases
North Macedonia’s Health Institute said on Wednesday that over the last 24 hours, 46 patients died from COVID-19-related complications, the highest daily number of fatalities since the epidemic outbreak, and that out of 1,470 people tested, 504 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.
The death toll stood at 2,203. The number of tested so far has been 354,205, and 69,954 have come back positive for the virus.
So far, 46,352 patients have recovered.
On Wednesday, the were 21,579 active cases in the country, the Ministry said.
