Vucic: 'Unprincipled' stance of BiH Presidency members on NATO

Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency members, Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic and Croat Zeljko Komsic, have “unprincipled” stance when it comes to Kosovo and Bosnia's road to NATO, said Aleksandar Vucic, the President of Serbian commenting on the boycott of the two Presidency members' meeting with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov earlier this week.

According to Vucic, the Presidency members rejected to meet the Russian diplomat because he “commended the military neutrality” of Republika Srpska, Bosnia's Serb-majority semi-autonomous region, while the two of them claim BiH is joining NATO and that Kosovo is independent.

As for the BiH flag, which was not displayed during Lavrov's meeting with the Serb member of BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, Vucic assessed “it was not Lavrov's fault.”

Presidency members Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic refused to meet the Russian FM because, as they put it, the disrespect for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prior to the official meeting with the BiH tripartite Presidency, Lavrov met the Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik at the Administrative Centre of Republika Srpska in Istocno Sarajevo.
