After updating the list of countries from which online sales and purchases can be made, American company Amazon has added Bosnia and Herzegovina, 26 years after its founding.

This information was published on social networks by Azra Zaimovic, a professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, who explained that two weeks ago Amazon had revised its list of countries allowed to register sellers, which now includes BiH.

By expanding this list, retailers from a total of 188 countries can now offer products in the largest online store in the world.

She added that in order for domestic entrepreneurs to enter the global online market, instructions from the tax authorities in BiH regarding the tax treatment of cross-border internet trade and profits are needed.

Amazon is an American company headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It is one of the first large companies to sell a variety of goods over the Internet.
