Ambassadors' joint statement: New election technologies important step forward for democracy in BiH

They added that new election technologies had been introduced nationwide for the first time, establishing important additional safeguards that help protect every citizen's vote and strengthen confidence in the electoral process.

“We commend the leadership of the Central Election Commission of BiH and its staff across the country for implementing this significant reform. The task was extremely demanding, and they rose to the challenge successfully. We also recognize the important role of the ‘Under the Magnifier’ Coalition, both in educating voters and observing the elections. The direction is clear: toward elections that are more transparent, credible and enjoy greater public confidence across BiH.

Above all, democracy depends on citizen participation. We commend everyone who went to the polls and exercised their democratic right to decide on the future of their country,” the joint statement said.
