The average monthly net salary in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) for September 2024 amounted to 1,369 Bosnian marks (€700) and saw a nominal and real-term decrease of 1.1% compared to the previous month, according to the FBiH Statistics Agency.

Several sectors experienced salary growth in September:

- Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles: Increased by 0.8%.
- Accommodation and Food Service Activities: Grew by 0.7%.

Conversely, significant decreases were reported in:

- Mining and Quarrying: Down by 4.2%.
- Health and Social Work Activities: Dropped by 4.1%.
- Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing: Declined by 3.7%.
