Hundreds of Banja Luka residents over the age of 65 stood in line Friday in front of the "Banja Luka Fair" hall to get their jab against the coronavirus without an appointment, Anadolu Agency reported.

As announced by the Banja Luka Health Center, they organized the vaccination of residents on Friday from 11 am to 3 pm without an appointment and the vaccine they will be administering is AstraZeneca's.

Biljana Mladjenovic, the manager of the vaccination point, said that they had provided a sufficient number of doses and that all persons over the age of 65 who come to the “Banja Luka Fair” by 3 pm would be vaccinated.

“Citizens have shown great interested today, I believe we could vaccinate 300 – 500 residents from 11 am to 3 pm, depending on the response,” she said.

Mass vaccination against coronavirus of citizens older than 65 at the “Banja Luka Fair” vaccination point began on March 29. The maximum capacity of this hall is up to 1,000 people per day.
