During the meeting, Becirovic addressed recent anti-European and anti-German rhetoric from the former president of the RS entity Milorad Dodik, clarifying that such statements do not represent the official stance of Bosnia and Herzegovina or the vast majority of its citizens. He emphasized that Germany remains one of the country's most vital foreign trade partners. Becirovic noted that instead of attacking Germany, critics should reflect on why so many citizens leaving the RS entity choose Germany and other democratic states as their destination.

The discussions highlighted the importance of intensified cooperation regarding migration management and the fight against organized crime and terrorism. the Presidency member stressed that operational cooperation and information exchange are critical for the security of both nations, noting that a stable Bosnia and Herzegovina is essential for European security.

Minister Dobrindt underscored that a continued open political dialogue and concrete institutional cooperation are vital for strengthening mutual trust. Becirovic expressed gratitude for Germany’s consistent support for Bosnia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration paths.
