The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against BiH Border Police officer Bogoljub Dacevic, as well as two other persons, Branislav Blagojevic and Vladimir Matovic, who are suspected of smuggling 12 Syrians into BiH.
The indictment charges Dacevic with transporting 12 illegal migrants, including minors and children, to the location in Dragocevo as a police officer of the Hum Border Police Unit, instead of preventing them from illegally crossing the border between Montenegro and BiH.
Dacevic asked the migrants for 1,500 Euros in order to transport them further to the territory of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH alleged.
The statement says the migrants collected 1,200 euros, after which Dacevic hired the accused Blagojevic and Matovic to transport the migrants to Sarajevo.
The indictment alleges that Dacevic used the official vehicle to provide protection for vehicles in which Blagojevic and Matovic transported migrants, after which he returned to the Border Police premises where he submitted a false report that a group of migrants had been deterred from entering BiH.
