Bosnia’s Foreign Ministry said Wednesday they received a letter with threatening content, addressed to Minister Bisera Turkovic.
The Ministry did not reveal the contents of the letter, but they confirmed that it contains threats with the “powerful Russia,” curses and insults, both against the minister and against the international community’s High Representative Christian Schmidt, in charge of overseeing the implementation of the civilian aspect of the Dayton Peace Agreement that ended the 1992-1995 war in the country.
Radio Free Europe said that the letter was sent to Turkovic from Serbia.
The Ministry told N1 that this is not the first time anonymous threatening letters have been sent to their address.
According to procedures, everything was reported to the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies and the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
