BiH Presidency member Denis Becirovic welcomed the special envoy of the United Kingdom, Stuart Peach, assessing that his visit to Bosnia is a continuation of the United Kingdom's continued interest in reform processes in BiH and its European path. He thanked the UK for the continued political, economic, security and other forms of support.

Becirovic pointed out that it is important to create a positive atmosphere in the country and the region, and that Bosnia’s goal is to be a peaceful and stable country focused on European and Euro-Atlantic integration and values.

The two discussed the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on the importance of attracting investments from the UK to BiH and on the transfer of knowledge and technology.

The UK special envoy said that his country remains an ally and friend of BiH and they will continue to support Bosnia in the reform processes. He pointed out that the UK will continue to invest in the Bosnian and Balkan infrastructure, which should contribute to increasing energy independence, employment, expanding production capacity, and thereby increasing the competitiveness of the economy.
