More than 40,000 Pfizer/BioNTech doses of vaccine against coronavirus were delivered to Sarajevo on Monday through COVAX and EU4Health mechanisms.
According to the plan of delivery that was confirmed by the Civil Affairs Ministry two days ago, Bosnia has received 32,760 Pfizer/BioNTech doses through COVAX and 10,530 doses of the same producer through the EU4Health programme.
By the end of the month, the country should get a total of 91,260 Pfizer/BioNTech doses via both platforms and 81,600 doses of AstraZeneca from the COVAX mechanism.
After the shipment undergoes the customs procedure at the Sarajevo International Airport, the vaccines will be sent to the cities of Mostar and Banja Luka.
