The Bosnian Border Police recently apprehended ten individuals wanted by various courts and police departments across Bosnia and Herzegovina. These arrests occurred at different border crossings.

On August 16, 2024, members of the Trebinje Border Police Unit arrested B.V. (1997), a Bosnian national, at the Zupci border crossing as she entered Bosnia. She was wanted by the Basic Court in Gradiška for fraud related to obtaining loans or other benefits. She was handed over to officers from the Trebinje District Court Police Center.

On the same day, at the Orasje border crossing, M.DZ. (1960) was detained as he attempted to leave the country. He was wanted by the Modrica Police Station for embezzlement. The Bosnian and Croatian national was transferred to the Modrica Police Station.

Earlier, on August 13, 2024, M.M. (1987) was arrested at the Orasje border crossing as he tried to leave Bosnia. The Municipal Court in Tuzla had issued a warrant for his arrest for property damage. He was handed over to the Court Police Center in the Posavina Canton. Additionally, D.C. (1984) was detained at the Samac border crossing on the same day, wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska for failure to provide child support. He was transferred to the Republika Srpska police.

On August 15, 2024, the Velika Kladusa Border Police Unit handed over A.D. (2004) to the Court Police Center in the Una-Sana Canton. He was wanted by the Municipal Court in Velika Kladusa for theft and was arrested at the Velika Kladusa border crossing. Similarly, on August 12, 2024, A.N. (1986) was arrested at the same crossing, wanted by the Municipal Court in Cazin for domestic violence. He was also handed over to the Una-Sana Canton Court Police Center.

On August 15, 2024, the Brcko Border Police Unit arrested S.D.B. (1992) as she attempted to leave Bosnia at the Brcko border crossing. She was wanted by the Basic Court in Bijeljina for theft and was handed over to the Bijeljina District Court Police Center.

On August 14, 2024, the Gradiska Border Police Unit arrested Z.T. (1986) at the Gradiska border crossing as he entered Bosnia. He was wanted by the Basic Court in Gradiška to serve a prison sentence and was transferred to the Banja Luka District Court Police Center.

On the same day, the Doljani Border Police Unit detained M.R. (1973) at the Bijaca border crossing. He was wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton for domestic violence. The Bosnian and Croatian national was handed over to the Mostar Police Department.

Lastly, on August 13, 2024, the Hum Border Police Unit arrested A.S. (1988) as he tried to leave Bosnia at the Hum border crossing. He was wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton for endangering safety. He was handed over to the Court Police Center in the Bosnian Podrinje Canton.
