Bosnian Border Police prevents smuggling of 11 migrants near border with Serbia

Members of the Bosnian Border Police Support and Control Unit prevented the smuggling of 11 persons of Afro-Asian origin during the control of three passenger motor vehicles in the Visegrad area, near the border with Serbia.

There were five people of Afro-Asian origin in the first passenger vehicle Golf, driven by M. B., in the Audi Q7 vehicle, driven by S. J., there were also three people of Afro-Asian origin, and three more persons of the same origin in the Golf vehicle, driven by K. S.. All persons transporting the migrants were citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Due to the suspicion of the criminal offense of human smuggling from the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was informed about the incident and the three suspects were detained. The migrants in question were handed over to members of the Service for Foreigner's for further proceeding.
