The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has so far received 29 complaints for genocide denial, including the one against Serb member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency Milorad Dodik, the institution said on Friday.
The amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, banning the denial of genocide, crimes against humanity and other war crimes as well as the glorification of war criminals, were imposed by now former High Representative Valentin Inzko in late July and came into effect a week afterward.
Since then, the Bosnian prosecution has received 29 complaints based on the law changes.
Dodik confirmed on Thursday that he was summoned for interrogation over what he called “alleged denial of genocide.”
