Bosnia’s Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic met during the Munich Security Conference with the European Union's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajcak.
The two discussed the current situation in BiH, the European perspective of the Western Balkans, the reform process in Bosnia and the security challenges facing Europe.
They expressed hope that Brussels will recognize the progress achieved by BiH in the next report and that the European Council will adopt a Decision on opening negotiations with Bosnia in March, to further strengthen the integration process in the country.
The 60th Munich Security Conference began Friday in Munich, during which the most important international security challenges and problems will be discussed at a high level.
The Munich Security Conference lasts until February 18, the meeting is attended by a large number of heads of state and government, ministers, security experts, as well as representatives of international organizations and civil society.
