Bosnia's Lana Pudar reaches European Championship semi-finals in 200m butterfly
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s best female swimmer Lana Pudar has qualified for the semi-finals of the women’s 200-metre butterfly at the European Championships.
The Mostar-born athlete recorded the sixth-fastest time among 29 competitors, completing the distance in 2:10.92 during the qualifying heats.
Pudar comfortably secured her place in the semi-finals, which are scheduled for Saturday evening at 7:52 p.m. and 7:56 p.m.
Her fellow Bosnian swimmer Ima Avdić narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals, finishing 25th overall with a time of 2:19.02.
The 200m butterfly final is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, at 6:47 p.m.
