After the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Niksic, announced plans to financially support several sports federations, the Taekwondo Federation expressed dissatisfaction with their exclusion from the initiative.

In a statement, the Taekwondo Federation highlighted their athletes’ achievements, including six out of twelve medals won by Bosnia and Herzegovina at European and World Championships this summer. They emphasized the need for funding in Olympic and individual sports, which have brought the country significant success.

The Federation urged Prime Minister Niksic to reconsider and include Olympic sports in the funding plan to ensure that athletes across all disciplines receive the support they need to continue making Bosnia and Herzegovina proud.
