The video was shared on social media by Bosnian humanitarian organisation Pomozi.ba, showing children dressed in Bosnia and Herzegovina national team jerseys standing among the ruins and wishing the team good luck.

“Support for our Dragons is also coming from these brave children,” Pomozi.ba wrote.

“Among the ruins, a message of support for Bosnia and Herzegovina echoed. In their own way, they wished our national team good luck.”

The organisation added that the children's message also carries “sincere gratitude to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina who stood by them in their hardest moments.”

The video shows a group of children wearing Bosnia and Herzegovina jerseys bearing the names and numbers of national team players, including Nikola Vasilj, Tarik Muharemović, Ivan Šunjić and Amar Memić.

Standing amid the destruction, the children send words of encouragement to the Bosnian team ahead of one of the biggest matches in the country's football history.

The video has attracted widespread attention on social media, with many users describing it as one of the most touching messages of support the national team has received before facing the tournament hosts.

Pomozi.ba concluded its post with a simple message:

“Good luck, Dragons.”
