Crowds in Banja Luka hold rally glorifying convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic

Participants organized a commemorative procession through the city, marching from Krajina Square to the Central Monument while displaying banners that hailed Mladic as a hero.

Organizers publicly thanked him for allegedly leading his people during the most difficult times.

The event follows a series of similar rallies held across Republika Srpska following the death of Mladic, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by the international tribunal in The Hague for genocide and crimes against humanity committed during the 1990s war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
