Three people have lost their lives in the disastrous summer torrential rains and flooding in Slovenia, the national news agency STA reported on Friday.
A Slovenian lost his life in Kamnik, while two Dutch citizens died in the mountains in a wider area of Kranj.
Police are still trying to establish the exact cause of the deaths, the police told the STA on Friday.
The victim at Kamnik died in the flooding according to the first information, while the two Dutch citizens seem to have been killed by a thunder strike, according to a police spokeswoman.
Record amounts of rainfalls have caused flooding in northern Slovenia.
The swollen rivers of Krka, Sava, Drava and Dravinja are likely to flood the areas where they flow through.
