Commenting on the announcement that the High Representative of the international community, Christian Schmidt, will visit to Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, RS President, Milorad Dodik, said that the people in the entity want Schmidt to be declared persona non grata and that he should leave as soon as possible.

Schmidt recently told media he will visit the entity, shortly after Dodik said the international community representative will be arrested if he enters the RS.

“None of us will use any force, he is trying to show muscle, but he will be informed that he cannot enter any building of our institutions or hold a meeting with anyone in an official place. We will not use force, but he will be given a message that he is not welcome and for his safety it would be better for him to return as soon as possible,” said Dodik.

Dodik also accused Schmidt and other German officials of coming to BiH to “encourage as many young people as possible to go to Germany because Ukraine and the Western Balkans are the only resource where they can fill five million vacancies.”
