The President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, called for the adoption of the report of the International Commission for Srebrenica at the RS National Assembly, on April 18, and after that for the attendance of "a large rally of the Serb people on Trg Krajine in Bana Luka" from which they would send a message "that the Serbs are committed to their freedom and the defense of their future."
In a telephone statement to Srna from Athens, Dodik stated that at that gathering it will be pointed out that “all those from the Serb people who committed crimes in the last war have been convicted and imprisoned but that the persecution of the Serb people has exceeded all measures.”
“From this meeting, we will make it clear that we cannot live with Muslims, that is, Bosniaks who persistently slander us and impose responsibility where it does not exist,” said Dodik.
He said again that the Serbs must be aware of the situation in which the Serb people and the RS find themselves.
“Therefore, I call for the adoption of the report of the International Commission for Srebrenica in the RSNA, and for the gathering in the afternoon at a large public meeting,” Dodik noted.
He stated that the meeting scheduled for 6 pm at Trg Krajine would be “a big meeting of the freedom-loving Serb people who will announce that the Serbs are an honourable, honest, historical people.”
