Milorad Dodik, the president of Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity (RS), announced his visit to Russia again, expressing honour of having an opportunity to meet Russian president Vladimir Putin and calling him a “great statesman.”
Dodik said he has “a lot to talk about with Putin” and confirmed the meeting will take place next month.
In an interview with Croatian RTL, Dodik was asked to comment on the indictment over the refusal to implement decisions of the High Representative in BiH on the RS entity territory.
He called the process before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a “circus” and assessed that it harms BiH.
“Because if there is a country that suffers from having a foreigner that is writing norms, and that the court acts in line with that what kind of country is that?,”Dodik asked.
According to him, it makes no sense to be in such BiH.
“As far as we are concerned, we are not free in BiH, this is not our country where we can stay. We will use the first opportunity we get,” said Dodik.
Bosnian Serb leader reiateratd his stance on High Representative Christian Schmidt, whom he does not recognise, saying that he always find someone to blame.
“I came to the court to shos how absurd all that is,” he underlined.
As for his relations with Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, Dodik said that he is a “normal person” and that he has good relations with him.
“I owe him nothing and he ows me nothing either. He is an improtant statesman. I respect him for that reason. He leads his country well and successfully, in the right way and is taking care of his sovereignty,” he underlined.
