President of Republika Srpska and SNSD leader, Milorad Dodik, once again threatened secession during his address at the 59th "Kocic's Gathering" in Stricici, despite having previously claimed that he never advocated for it. Dodik warned that if a decision is made that property belongs to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska will declare independence, stating, "Even the CIA director won't help you."

During his speech, Dodik emphasized the unity of the Serbian people, referencing the “All-Serb Assembly” Declaration, which, according to him, asserts that there are only Serbs, not Bosnian, Croatian, or other regional Serbs.

Dodik also expressed pride that the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was not present at the event, reiterating his stance that BiH is not his country but something imposed by the Dayton Agreement. He argued that the foreign interventions favoring Bosniaks have dismantled the Dayton Bosnia, and that if property is taken from Republika Srpska, it would lose everything.

“If you take our property and decide that it belongs to BiH, count on Republika Srpska making its decision on independence,” Dodik declared, adding that no foreign influence, including that of the CIA, could prevent it.

This rhetoric comes in contrast to his recent comments following the visit of CIA Director William J. Burns, where Dodik claimed to support the Dayton Bosnia and denied any plans for secession.
