"The Dutch Parliament adopted a Resolution which leaves the possibility for the Prime Minister to vote in Brussels in favour of the decision to open negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina", Bosnian Ambassador to the Netherlands Almir Sahovic confirmed for N1.
As previously reported by Politico, the Netherlands and Denmark warned that BiH should not be given the green light and asked for clarification on the surprisingly positive report on BiH.
On the other hand, the same magazine published an article Wednesday morning based on an insight into the draft document, which states that BiH will, despite everything, get the green light. Seven European countries invited their colleagues to support BiH and its momentum towards the EU.
German Bundestag also passed a resolution supporting the opening of negotiations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU.
