Election watchdog files criminal complaint citing election fraud in Bosnia

Bosnia’s Central Election Commission (CEC BiH) filed a complaint on Monday with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, believing that a criminal offence of the so-called election fraud related to the electoral process has been committed.

According to the Main Counting Center report, acting according to the Order of the Central Election Commission of BiH dated October 10, 2022, found 36 falsified ballots at two polling stations in Bratunac and one polling station in Sekovici during the examination of the votes.

Also, according to the report of the Main Counting Center, the re-counting of ballots for the president and vice-presidents of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity has been carried out for 33 municipalities/cities in the RS, ie, 1,621 polling stations have been processed, the CEC BiH said.
