EUFOR identifies four killed in helicopter crash near Brcko, says all 11 injured are stable

Eleven people were injured in the crash, which occurred in the Gorica area on October 29, 2026. Two have been transferred to a medical facility in Tuzla for further treatment, while the remaining nine are receiving care in Brcko.

All those injured are currently in stable condition, EUFOR said.

The mission again urged the public to avoid spreading misinformation or speculating about the circumstances of the crash, and to rely on its official channels for verified information.

EUFOR also thanked the media for the compassion and respect shown in their coverage of the tragedy.

“EUFOR is deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life and extends its deepest condolences to the Italian families, friends and loved ones of those who lost their lives serving peace,” the statement said.
