FBiH consumer prices surge by 1.6 Percent in April 2026

Prices increased in the following sectors: Transport by 9.2 percent, Clothing and footwear as well as Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 1.2 percent each, Other goods and services by 0.5 percent, Food and non-alcoholic beverages, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco as well as Health by 0.3 percent each, and Restaurants and hotels by 0.2 percent.

Prices decreased in the sector of Furnishing, household equipment and routine household maintenance by 0.1 percent.

In other sectors, on average, prices did not change.

In April 2026, compared to April 2025, prices increased by 6.6 percent (annual inflation), according to data from the FBiH Institute for Statistics.
