The Federation (FBiH) entity’s Administration for Inspection Affairs (FUZIP) has released a comprehensive report following inquiries regarding lead poisoning cases and appeals from concerned parents in Vares. According to the findings, elevated lead levels in the region were documented years prior to the arrival of the current investor. Inspection officials noted that monitoring stations recording exceedances are situated outside the direct influence of the mining operations, suggesting a pre-existing environmental issue.
