David Scheffer, the first US ambassador for war crimes and one of the founders of the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY), spoke exclusively for N1 about the upcoming verdict against former Bosnian Serb army general Ratko Mladic, possible changes in the final court decision, the slowness of world justice, the Simatovic and Stanisic case and sending former president of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity Radovan Karadzic to Great Britain to serve his sentence.
