France is one of the co-sponsors of the Resolution on Srebrenica

The Memorial Center thanked President Emmanuel Macron, the Mission of France to the UN and the friendly people of France and shared a video of Macron's address from a few years ago.
“France remembers and will always remember the suffering your country experienced 25 years ago, in the darkest moments Europe has seen since the end of World War II. On July 11, 1995, and in the days that followed, here, in Srebrenica, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the worst tragedies in modern history took place. France has not forgotten more than 8,000 victims, adults and children, who were killed," Macron said on that occasion.
