Public transport in Sarajevo will operate after midnight until the morning hours as of January 1, 2024 and the service will be free of charge, Sarajevo Canton Minister of Transport Adnan Steta announced on Wednesday.

The delivery of new Stadler trams has already started, with a total of 15 trams expected to be delivered by the summer next year.

New trams will be equipped with Internet, air conditioning, video surveillance, automated passenger counters.
