Germany's foreign minister Annalena Baerbock will arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 5 for an official visit, learns N1.

Announcing the visits, Konakovic recently said that the arrival of foreign diplomats in Bosnia and Herzegovina confirms that Europe has opened its door for BiH.
“If this generation of politicians misses this opportunity, it will be rightfully permanently marked and punished in the elections,” he said.
In December 2022, Bosnia and Herzegovina was granted the candidate status for the membership in the European Union.
Later this month, the heads of states and governments of the EU member states will be deciding on whether to open the accession talks with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The priority reforms set before the country, as a condition for this step, include an agreement with Frontex, adoption of Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, which the authorities already met. Other conditions are the adoption of the Law on Conflict of Interests and the Law on Courts, both of which are on hold.
