High Representative Christian Schmidt met with EUFOR Commander Major General Florin-Marian Barbu to discuss the European Union Force's (EUFOR) ongoing activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a particular focus on current operations and reserve force requirements.
Schmidt emphasized the essential role of both EUFOR and the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in maintaining stability and security in the country.
"Coordinated efforts between EUFOR and OHR in ensuring the implementation of the Dayton Agreement—both its civilian and military aspects—and in maintaining peace and order in Bosnia and Herzegovina remain crucial," Schmidt stated.
