In the village of Rakovo Noga, near Kresevo, a Tourist Village "Hobbiton" was built, based on the film series "Lord of the Rings", and it represents a new tourist attraction in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Five cottages, two of which are completely finished, look like they came out of “The Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings” films, offering a pleasant and peaceful stay in the beautiful nature surrounding the village of Rakova Noga in Kresevo.
“We currently have two completed houses, and we plan to finish the remaining three by spring. The agreement was to build five houses, four houses for four sisters and one for the parents, and that each of us can decorate our house according to our own wishes,” said the owner of the settlement, Marija Milicevic.
She added that their inspiration was New Zealand but they decided to introduce some originality into the houses, i.e. to bring the spirit and tradition of Kresevo into their names and arrangement.
Then she explained that each house has 25 m2 of living space, which can accommodate four people.
Also, each house has its own private yard, which, in addition to the beautiful view, offers the possibility of grilling and cooking outdoors. There is also a promenade through the magical forest, houses for pets, as well as the ‘Golishan’ hut for organizing celebrations,” Milicevic noted.
According to her, the price of a night's stay varies depending on the season, weather conditions, rental period and promotional offers. Generally, the price of accommodation ranges from €50 to €100.
Milicevic concluded by saying that the main goal of their project is the tourist promotion of Kresevo.
