Iran wants to exploit tourism to neutralize the "campaign of Iranophobia," Oslobodjenje daily wrote, Thursday.

Ezzatollah Zarghami, Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, announced that the Government of Iran has decided to unilaterally cancel visas for 33 countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He said that the goal of this decision is to encourage the arrival of tourists and attract more visitors from countries around the world. Through tourism, as Zarghami says, campaigns of Iranophobia can be neutralized.

In addition to citizens of BiH, visas have also been cancelled for those from Serbia and Croatia.

This comes as Iran had visa waiver programs for visitors from Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Oman, China, Armenia, Lebanon and Syria.
