Israeli Chamber of Commerce opens in Banja Luka

The Administrative Center of the Government of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka hosted a formal ceremony marking the establishment of the Office of the Chamber of Commerce of Israel.

The high-profile event drew the political leadership of Republika Srpska, including President Sinisa Karan, Prime Minister Savo Minic, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, and BiH Presidency Member Zeljka Cvijanovic. Among the distinguished guests were Israeli Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli and non-resident Israeli Ambassador to BiH Galit Peleg. The gathering was hosted by Amir Gross Kabiri and the Acting Director of the RS Office for International Cooperation, Ana Trisic Babic.
At the helm of the newly founded Chamber of Commerce is Amir Gross Kabiri, an Israeli businessman recognized as one of the most influential yet controversial figures concerning Israeli presence and influence in Bosnia.

On that occasion, he emphasized that the opening of this representative office marks the beginning of a new chapter in relations, expressing hope that it will provide strong momentum for economic cooperation.
Ambassador Peleg stated that the commencement of the Chamber's work represents an expression of confidence in the business environment of Republika Srpska and an invitation to Israeli investors, highlighting that Israel harbors deep respect for Republika Srpska and expects further strengthening of economic ties in the upcoming period.
