The drama series "I know how you breathe" (“Znam kako dises”) by Jasmila Zbanic and Damir Ibrahimovic was included in the main program of this year's 80th edition of the Venice Film Biennale, the director of the Venice Film Festival, Alberto Barbera announced Tuesday.
Directors are Alen Drljevic and Nermin Hamzagic, and screenwriter Elma Tataragic.
This is the first time that a TV series from this region will have its world premiere as part of one of the world's largest festivals, which will take place from August 30 to September 9.
In addition to the "I know how you breathe" series, only one more series will be shown at the festival, and new films by Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Liliana Cavani, Harmony Corina and Roman Polanski will be shown in the same selection.
