The President of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, publicly cursed the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during Wednesday's press conference, and on that occasion, he vehemently insulted the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
A new hearing continued at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday in the case against him due to non-execution of the decision of High Representative Christian Schmidt. After the trial, Dodik addressed the public from East Sarajevo.
The RS President criticized the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and cursed the state, accusing this institution of disrespecting “the citizens of fu*** Bosnia and Herzegovina, but protecting a foreigner”.
“I am a politician and the President of the RS. This trial is evidence that the Court and the Prosecutor's Office are not defending the Constitution, they are defending the will of a foreigner. The fact is that someone who wrote the Law by his own decision, which he does not have the right to do, is not put on trial. It’s not worth engaging in various non-arguments. What I saw today really disgusts me as a person. You have a situation where a criminal complaint has been filed against me because I allegedly disrespect the High Representative, and I signed a decision because there is no High Representative,” said Dodik.
“The Security Council did not elect that foreigner”, Dodik stressed, rejecting the statement of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who said that the Security Council does not elect the High Representative, but by the Peace Implementation Council. Dodik called Guterres a “liar” and a “stinker”.
“The Secretary-General made some false interpretations about a system that was installed to discipline the Serbs, even disobedient Croats, in order to say that only Bosniaks are victims and that they have the right to a state. I think they overdid it,” said Dodik.
